Books

Excellent technical skills are the foundation to succeed in any tech-leadership role. Over the last decade, I have not only learnt multiple technologies, but also helped clients in achieving multi-fold benefits using these skills.

In the compilations below, I explain various technical concepts from the lens of practical, business, and scenario based approaches, to understand the potential impact of each line of code we write. I hope that this will not only strengthen you as a tech professional, but will also prepare you to have stronger foothold in the management decisions.

Based on what I know, I have complied various topics which in my opinion are a presumed skillset in any tech leader. Upon completion, each compilation will eventually end up in the form of published books, based on the feedback I receive.

These are works in progress and offer a comprehensive view of my book writing process. Be sure to subscribe to the Let’s Do Tech News, where I share the updates on these writing projects on weekly basis.

Published on Gumroad

This is where I go the extra mile and polish these compilations into a book. The completed books are published on Gumroad. Feel free to check out free as well as paid books available on various topics.

Kubernetes

I thought it would be a good idea to revisit K8s concepts once again before I move on to the next technology. In my opinion, K8s is one of the most important pieces of technology you will ever learn.

Serverless

Last year (2023), I dedicated few months in learning and implementing serverless concepts in various client engagements. After a brief period of obsession with serverless, I realised its pros and cons. I still admire it for what it is, and can be quite effective when used correctly. I will try to dedicate some time to write about my lessons here.

DevOps

The main part of my job in the last 6-7 years has been to automate things. Be it CI/CD, custom automation scripts, integrations, data processing, data-driven workflows – you name it, and I will probably have an opinion about it. DevOps is a highly subjective field of work and each project team has a different story to tell. One of my favourite topics to chat about.

Machine Learning

This is my next target. I do not consider myself qualified enough to write about AI/ML, as I have been exploring this on a personal level. I haven’t got enough real-world experience. But I would definitely write about it in upcoming months. If you like my writings, may be you can subscribe to my free newsletter, and I will be sure to inform about my start.
